I'd remembered my friend had a mum's photo like this in his wallet.

Here's a little story from me along with the set:
She look back over the years,
My, is not that long ago,
Since all the dress-up & glamour beauty queens.
There was her youth she once lived
Too never look back like her daughter
The young lady putting on black eye liner
The mommy now different & all grown up
Not in the way expected
Things appear as it not seems ...
So, this is now, she's a mommy
The daughter look up to her
The same face staring for comfort
The same eyes looking for understanding
The same nose twitching in disagreement
And the same lips speaking only in a different language this time.
The old photo showed the same person as she once was
The same person in the reflections
And the same little girl who never grow up in her eyes
Right in front of her now. You can't escape your past when it represent itself in full bloom facing you. So there's an acceptance from the heart after all.
